In March 2009 DFO and Coastal First Nations hosted the First PNCIMA forum

On March 26th and 27th 2009, the Government of Canada and Coastal First Nations hosted the First Pacific North Coast Integrated Management (PNCIMA) Forum.

The forum was a two-day event to engage people and organizations in the development of an integrated approach to oceans management for PNCIMA. This integrated approach aims to preserve ecological diversity and function while also ensuring sustainable human use. The event was attended by individuals and organizations that work in, plan for, and use resources in the PNCIMA region.

Further details are available at the PNCIMA website
